Thecoolingsystemislledwitha50/50solution
ofwaterandpermanentethylene-glycolantifreeze.
Checkthelevelofthecoolantintheexpansiontankat
thebeginningofeachdaybeforestartingtheengine.
Thecapacityofthecoolingsystemis7.5liters(6
quarts).

Note:Thecoolantlevelshouldbebetweenthe
marksonthesideofthetank.

Topreventtheenginefromoverheating,theradiator
mustbekeptclean.Itmaybenecessarytocheckand
cleantheradiatormorefrequentlyinextremelydusty
anddirtyconditions.
Note:Ifthemowerdeckorengineshutsoffdueto
overheating,rstchecktheradiatorforexcessive
buildupofdebris.
Cleantheradiatorasfollows:
1.Openthehood.
2.Workingfromthefansideoftheradiator,blow
outdebriswithlowpressure(345kpa;50psi)
compressedair.Repeatthestepfromthefront
oftheradiatorandagainfromthefanside.
Important:Donotusewatertocleanthe
radiator.
3.Afteryouthoroughlycleantheradiator,cleanout
debristhatmayhavecollectedinthechannelat
theradiatorbase.
4.Closethehood.
