Important:Topreventdamagetotheliftcylinder,
makesurethattheactuatorsarefullyretracted
beforetransportingthemachine.
UsingtheBoom-SectionTransport
Cradle
Thesprayerisequippedwithboom-sectiontransport
cradlesthathaveauniquesafetyfeature.Inthe
eventthespraysectionaccidentallycontactswitha
lowoverheadobjectwhileinthetransportposition,
youcanpushthespraysection(s)outofthetransport
cradles.Ifthisoccurs,thespraysectionscometo
restinanearhorizontalpositiontotherearofthe
machine.Whilethismovementwillnotdamagethe
spraysections,theyshouldbeimmediatelypositioned
intothetransportcradle.
Important:Thespraysectionscanbedamaged
bytransportingtheminanypositionother
thanthe“X”transportpositionusingtheboom
transportcradle.
Toputtheouterspraysectionsbackintothetransport
cradle,lowerthespraysection(s)tothesprayposition
andthenraisethespraysection(s)backtothe
transportposition.Makesurethattheliftcylindersare
fullyretractedtopreventdamagingtheactuatorrod.
SprayingTips
•Donotoverlapareasthatyouhavepreviously
sprayed.
•Watchforpluggednozzles.Replaceallwornor
damagednozzles.
•Usethemastersectionswitchtostopthespray
owbeforestoppingthesprayer.Onceitstops,
usetheengine-throttlecontroltoholdtheengine
speeduptokeeptheagitationrunning.
•Youwillobtainbetterresultsifthesprayeris
movingwhenyouturnthespraysectionson.
UncloggingaNozzle
Ifanozzlebecomescloggedwhileyouarespraying,
cleanthenozzleasfollows:
1.Stopthesprayeronalevelsurface,shutoffthe
engine,andengagetheparkingbrake.
2.SetthemastersectionswitchtotheOFFposition
andthensetthesprayer-pumpswitchtothe
OFFposition.
3.Removethecloggednozzleandcleanitusinga
spraybottleofwaterandatoothbrush.
4.Installthenozzle.

•Afteryounishoperatingthemachinefortheday,
washoffallchemicalresiduefromtheoutsideof
themachine;refertoChemicalSafety(page21).
•Allowtheenginetocoolbeforestoringthemachine
inanyenclosure.
•Neverstorethemachineorfuelcontainerwhere
thereisanopename,spark,orpilotlight,such
asonawaterheaterorotherappliance.
•Keepallpartsofthemachineingoodworking
conditionandallhardwaretightened.
•Replaceallworn,damaged,ormissingdecals.
