Drainandcleanthefueltankifthefuelsystem
becomescontaminatedorifyouplantostorethe
machineforanextendedperiod.Usefresh,cleanfuel
toushoutthetank.
1.Transferthefuelfromthetankintoanapproved
fuelcontainerusingasiphonpump,orremove
thetankfromthemachineandpourthefuelout
ofthetankllspoutintothefuelcontainer.
Note:Ifyouremovethefueltank,alsoremove
thefuelandreturnhosesfromthetankbefore
removingthetank.
2.Replacethefuellter;refertoReplacingthe
FuelFilter(page50).
3.Flushthetankwithfresh,cleanfuel,ifnecessary.
4.Installthetankifyouremovedit.
5.Fillthetankwithfresh,cleanfuel.
