1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurfaceandsettheparkingbrake.Stopthe
engine,waitforallmovingpartstostopandremovethekey.
2.Liftthereartiresofftheground.
3.Loosenthenutsecuringthecontrolrodtothemotioncontrol.
4.Withtheenginerunningatfullthrottle,ndtheneutralpositiononthe
transmissionbymovingthelowercontrolrodupordown(thiswillrotatethe
transmissionlever)untilthetirestopsrotating.
5.Tightenthenutinstep3.Whiletighteningthenut,thecontrolrodmaymove
andneutralwillbelost.Ifthishappens,youwillhavetore-adjust.
6.Trackingmayalsoneedtobeadjustedaftersettingneutral.Rotatethe
screwstospeeduponesideorslowdowntheotherslightly.
TrackingAdjustment
Neutraladjustmentneedstobedonebeforetrackingadjustment.
1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurfaceandsettheparkingbrake.Stopthe
engine,waitforallmovingpartstostopandremovethekey.
2.Startthemachinewiththerearwheelsraisedoffthegroundtomakesure
neutralisset.Wheelsshouldnotrotatewiththebrakeoff.Ifwheelsrotate,
seestepsforsettingtheneutral.
3.Movetheadjustablereferencebartofastestsetting.
4.Setthemachinespeedandtracking:withtheengineatfullthrottle,
pushthehandlesforwardandmeasureaxlerpm.Rubberaxlecapcanbe
removedtouseatouchtachometeratthecenteroftheaxle.Shouldread
130±3rpm.Rotatespeedandtrackingadjustmentscrewstoincreaseand
decreasespeed.
5.Alternatemethod:Adjustthespeedandtrackingscrewsuntilthemachine
drivesinastraightline.
