13. Check the hydraulic-uid level and replenish it,
if required.
Important: Use only the hydraulic uid specied.
Other uids could damage the system.
Replacing the Hydraulic Filter
Service Interval : After the rst 10 hours —Replace
the hydraulic lter .
Every 800 hours —Replace the hydraulic lter .
Important: Use of any other lter may void the
warranty on some components.
1. Park the machine on a level surface.
2. Engage the parking brake.
3. Shut of f the engine and remove the key .
4. Clean the area around the lter-mounting area.
5. Place a drain pan under the lter and remove
the lter ( Figure 69 ).

6. Lubricate the gasket on the new lter .
7. Ensure that the lter mounting area is clean.
8. Screw the lter on until the gasket contacts the
mounting plate, and tighten the lter 1/2 turn.
9. Start the engine and let it run for about 2 minutes
to purge air from the system.
10. Shut of f the engine and check the hydraulic-uid
level and for leaks.
