PERFORMANCE BUTTONS
T-1 is designed to be a tool for improvisation and performance.
The performance buttons can be used in combination with each other to make progressions and changes to the
compositions in creative ways. The [ MUTE ] button makes it possible to mute and unmute multiple tracks simul-
taneously. [ TEMP ] makes it possible to make temporary changes the pattern.
Both [ TEMP ] and [ MUTE ] can be double tapped for keeping the buttons active, though only one of them can be
double tapped at once. As long as one of the two performance buttons is held or double tapped, the mute states
and the temporary changes will not change before one of the two buttons is released.

mute
While holding [ MUTE ], the [ VALUE ] buttons represent the mute states of the 16 tracks in the pattern.
Press the [ VALUE ] buttons to mute or unmute the tracks. When [ MUTE ] is released, all the desired mute states
will change simultaneously.
instant mute
In combination with [ CTRL ], mute changes will happen instantly when pressing a [ VALUE ] button.
Instant mute makes it possible to change mute states while using [ TEMP ].
temp
Press and hold [ TEMP ], select tracks, and make temporary changes by turning the knobs.
When the [ TEMP ] button is released, the composition will return to its initial state.
While holding [ TEMP ], all desired mute stages will not happen before leaving TEMP again. This introduces
temporary progressions in combination with mute stages.
temp pattern
Press and hold [ TEMP ], in combination with [ PATTERN ], and turn the knobs to make relative parameter
changes to all the tracks in the pattern.
When [ TEMP ] is released, the composition will return to its initial stage.
It is possible to alternate between making relative pattern changes and changes to a single track by
pressing and releasing the[ PATTERN ] button in combination with [ TEMP ].
