analog sync
T-1 can send and receive analog clocks to synchronize with modular and analog instruments.
synchronizing external devices to an analog clock from T-1
T-1 can synchronize external sequencers and clocks via the analog clock output.
• Connect the clock output on T-1 to an analog clock input your modular or analog device.
• Connect the reset output on the T-1 to the reset/run input on the external clock.
• The clock rate and reset functionality can be congured in T-1 Cong. Make shure to match the PPQN
settings in T-1 Cong with those of the external device.

When T-1 is receiving an analog clock signal the tempo knob is disabled.
synchronization hierarchy
T-1 can only be synced from one source at a time.
When T-1 receives multiple synchronization signals at once, only one signal is being used.
The clock being used is determined by the synchronization hierarchy:
Analog clock > MIDI clock > Link
If T-1 receives MIDI clock from USB and TRS and at the same time, the two clocks are combined resulting
in a faster tempo. To avoid this make sure to only send one MIDI clock to the T-1.
using T-1 for clock conversions
T-1 is always passing the clock to the different outputs making it a great tool for making clock conversions.
• When Ableton Link is being used, the Link tempo is passed to MIDI and analog clock outputs.
• When T-1 receives a MIDI clock the tempo is passed to the analog clock output and Link.
• When T-1 receives an analog clock the tempo is being passed to the MIDI clock output and Link.
• The analog clock input is also being passed to the analog clock output making it possible to upscale or
downscale the clock rate.
