T-1 Cong is an application for changing settings and performing rmware updates on the T-1. The conguration
software is supported on macOS and Windows.
T-1 Cong can be downloaded at: torsoelectronics.com/resources
rmware updates
Firmware updates can be performed on the home tab of T-1 Cong.
When T-1 Cong is loaded it will automatically search for available rmware updates and prompt you if a new
update is available.
If a new update is available press the update button and your T-1 will automatically be updated to the latest rm-
ware.
Make sure to unplug all cables from the MIDI TRS ports while updating.
wi-
T-1 can connect to existing Wi-Fi networks, or create its own hotspot. The Wi-Fi connection is exclusively used to
run Ableton Link. See below.
In the Wi-Fi tab, you will see a list of all available networks that the T-1 can connect to. To connect a new network
select it on the list, type the password and press connect. T-1 Cong will prompt you when the network is con-
nected.
When a network is connected it will be stored in the list of saved networks. If you want the T-1 to forget a saved
network press the X next to the desired network.
Note that the T-1 only supports 2.4 GHz WiFi networks. Networks using 5 GHz will not be discovered by
the T-1.
hotspot
It is possible to use T-1’s own hotspot when your device is not connected to a network in the studio or at
home.
When the hotspot is selected you can change the name and password of the hotspot.
It is also possible to congure if and when the T-1 should use the hotspot.
