3. REPLACING TONER CARTRIDGE

Open the front cover of the digital multi function
system.

Release the hook to unlock the Toner Cartridge.

Pull the Toner Cartridge out of the digital multi
function system as shown in the illustration.
• Please return the empty toner cartridge to your service
technician.
When the toner in the toner cartridge becomes low, the Toner Lamp lights up and the following message
appears:
Toner is low 1
PAPER :
LT :AUTO
FINISHING :SORT ZOOM :100%

Tip
While “Toner is low” is displayed, the digital multi function system is still able to make copies (maximum:
100 copies). When “Toner is low” is displayed, the error lamp lights. After copying 100 sheets
(maximum), the message changes to “Toner empty” and the digital multi function system stops. At
this time, the error lamp starts blinking.
