4. DEPARTMENT CODES
If the digital multi function system is set up so that department codes can be used, you can make copies
only after entering a pre-assigned department code.

When the department control function is in use, the
screen shown on the right appears immediately after
the power switch is turned on.

Enter the 5-digit department code, and press key.
• The department code is shown with asterisks (*****). When
a correct department code is entered, the following message
appears.

Make copies, as you would normally.
• When you have finished making copies, either press the
key twice, or wait 45 seconds.
• When a wrong department code is entered, the following
message appears. Enter the correct department code.
