How to place originals
• When placing originals vertically:
Align the edges of the originals and set them all in the same
direction (top to bottom).
• When placing originals horizontally:
Arrange the originals so that the odd and even pages are
placed alternately in opposite directions, and then set them in
the automatic document feeder (optional) or the reversing au-
tomatic document feeder (optional).
