Setting Security Functions
You can configure the default values for the encryption setting that is applied when data scanned on this equipment is
generated as a secure PDF file. You can also configure whether or not to use the forced encryption mode.
This setting is applied to operations for “Scan to File or USB” and “Scan to E-mail”.

Press [SECURITY] in the ADMIN menu.
The PDF SECURITY SETTINGS screen is displayed.
