Terminology Description
Group connection A method of connecting multiple indoor units, as 1 group, to the same remote controller.
Header/Follower
To use 2 remote controllers for 1 (1 group of) indoor unit, so that one of the remote
controllers is set as the “Header remote controller” and the other as the “Follower remote
controller”.
Header remote controller The one set as the “Header remote controller” can operate all the functions.
Follower remote controller
The one set as the “Follower remote controller” cannot operate some functions.
(For the functions that cannot be operated, refer to <Header/Follower (Settings required
to use 2 remote controllers to do operations)>. (Page 19))
Central control device A device that batch controls multiple air conditioners.
