■5. Monitor function
Displays the codes and data indicating the operating condition and temperature of each sensor on the indoor units,
outdoor units, and remote controllers.
NOTE
• For details on codes and data, refer to the Installation Manual and Service manual of the indoor unit and outdoor unit.
• “Monitor function” display temperature values in “°C” (Celsius), even if “°F” (Fahrenheit) is selected in “Set temp. unit”.
■6. Setting louver position
You can change the displays for air blow direction and operation when swing of horizontal louvres is stopped.
Fixed position indication
Change the louvre operation when swing is released by using “Fixed position indication”.
Operation mode
Change the louvre operation direction display by using “Operation mode”.
1 In the “Field setting menu” screen, press
[ ] and [ ] to select “Monitor function
”,
and then press [ Set/Fix]
 Press [ ] and [ ] to change the code and then
check the data.
 In a group connection, after a selection in the unit
selection screen, move to the “Monitor function”
screen.
2 Press [ Return]
 Return to the “Field setting menu” screen.
1 In the “Field setting menu” screen, press
[ ] and [ ] to select “Setting louver
position”, and then press [ Set/Fix]
 For models whose louvre positions cannot be set,
“No function” is displayed.
2 In the “Setting louver position” screen,
press [ ] and [ ] to select an item
You can set the items that are black highlighted in the
display.
 Press [ ] and [ ] to switch to the setting you
want.
3 After setting each item, press [ Set/Fix]
 The changes are fixed.
 By selecting “ON”, when swing is released, the louvre stops as shown by the image displayed. (Factory
default setting)
 By selecting “OFF”, when swing is released, the position the louvre stops is shown by the image
displayed.
 By selecting up / down blower, the louvre operation direction is shown by the image displayed. (Factory
default setting)
 By selecting left / right blower, the louvre operation direction is shown by the image displayed.
This can be used on models whose louvres move left / right.
