Replacing the drive pulley/tail pulley

Disassemble the
drive pulley and tail
pulley
WARNING
Increased risk of accident!
Drive pulley and tail pulley may tilt and crush parts of the body.
Secure the drive pulley and tail pulley to prevent them from falling.
Use hoists to raise and lower the drive pulley and tail pulley.
Complete the following steps:
1. Release the grub screws of the flange bearings.
2. Support the drive pulley with appropriate workshop equipment (1).
3. Remove the joining elements of the bearing plate (2) on one side.
4. Remove the drive pulley (3) along with the bearing plate (4) lengthways
from the belt loop.
5. Place the drive pulley on a suitable base.
6. Proceed in the same way to disassemble the tail pulley.
The drive pulley and tail pulley have been disassembled.
Assemble the drive
pulley and tail pulley
Complete the following steps:
Assembly must be carried out in the reverse order.
The drive pulley and tail pulley have been assembled.
