Nailing Brackets
The fireplace has nailing brackets on both sides. Secure the fireplace to the framing with the nailing brackets.
NOTE: Make sure the fireplace is square and plumb when placed in the framing. Measured corner-to-corner the
fireplace should be square. Use shims to insure the fireplace is square.
NOTE: The nailing brackets have two positions: standard and extended. See the section “Facing Requirements”
for details on which position is best for your installation.
