Standard vs. Extended Position
• The nailing brackets on the side of the fireplace may be placed in the standard or extended position to best suit
the facing being used (the header shield is also moved). Most installations use the standard nailing bracket
position. If using a facing that does not use a backing board (e.g. marble), you may wish to use the extended
position.
