• Thimble (2-Piece Assembly)
• Pipe Shield, Header Shield (shipped attached to top of fireplace)

• Gas Line Equipment (shutoff valve, pipe, etc.)
• Electrical Equipment (min. 14 gauge, grounded line)
• The 42PB Requires 7 lbs. of 1/4” Crushed Glass
• The 54PB Requires 8 lbs. of 1/4” Crushed Glass

Recommended Installation Procedure
• Frame the opening for the fireplace. Make sure to allow for vent installation.
• Install the vent, gas line and electrical hook-up.
• Install the drywall.
• Install the hearth (if applicable).
• Install the facing (if applicable).
• Install the mantel (if applicable).
• Finalize the installation (see page 42).
