3.4 Startup Command
The gimbal can be configured to go to a specific gimbal mode and position when it is powered up.
The settings for the startup command in OrionUi do the following:
Home Position The gimbal’s default startup behavior. The gimbal will perform pan/tilt
initialization and then go to a fixed pan/tilt of 0, 0.
Disabled The gimbal will not initialize motors until it receives a command to change pan/tilt.
Custom Not selectable by the user. If this is shown as selected, a custom startup command has
been set on the gimbal via a custom software interface.
3.5 Video Settings
Most of the video settings are typically set from SkyLink with the following exceptions:
UDP Max Packet Size
In bytes.
TTL
Time To Live is how long a UDP packet is considered valid, measured in hops.
Save on Reset
Applies current settings upon reset instead of going to defaults.
3.6 Inertial Navigation System Settings
The gimbal GPS/INS meshes data from the GPS and IMU to determine gimbal position, speed, and
orientation. As described in the SkyLink section, a reasonably accurate INS solution is absolutely
critical to the operation of the gimbal. Since INS system settings are specific to both the gimbal
hardware configuration and the installation setup, correct settings are required for the INS to
correctly operate.
