10.4.1 PED-approved type safety valve
1. Operate the sterilization cycle according to the manual.
2. Allow a pressure of approximately 200 kPa (29 psi) to build up
in the chamber.
3. Turn the safety valve pressure-regulating nut counterclockwise
for 2 seconds. Be careful not to burn your hands.
Attention:
Use protective gloves in order not to burn your
hands with the hot steam.
4. Return the nut to its original position.
5. Press the STOP key to interrupt the operation, and exhaust
steam from chamber.
6. Wait until the pressure decreases to zero, only then can the
door be opened.
