3.13.6 SWITCHES
Press 6 from the Service Menu, the following screen will be
displayed:
3.13.6.1 FAST FAULT MODE
When selected, this option allows faults to be detected in 5
seconds.
Press 1from the Switches menu. The following screen will
be displayed:
Devices that are not configured in Fast Logic mode cannot
be set to the Fast Logic mode from this menu.
3.13.6.2 RATE OF RISE PROCESSING
When selected, this option allows the rate of rise processing
to be either standard processing (OFF) or extended
processing before alarm is reported to the panel (ON).
Press 5 from the Diagnostics menu. The following screen
will be displayed:
1 - Fast Fault Mode
2 - Rate of Rise
3 - Fast Logic Mode
4 - Noisy Devices
5 - Detect.Power Up

3.13.6.3 FAST LOGIC MODE
Press 3 from the Switches menu. The following screen will
be displayed:
‘As Configured’ - means that the devices will operate as they
have been programmed in ‘MZX Consys’.
‘OFF’ - regardless of how the devices have been configured
in ‘MZX Consys’ the Fast Logic algorithm is not used.
3.13.6.4 NOISY DEVICE
Press 4 from the Switches menu. The following screen will
be displayed:
If there are a series of large changes in the smoke values
read, this could indicate problems with the device. In some
circumstances the panel raises a ‘NOISY DEVICE’
fault. This fault can also be raised when the system is
working correctly if a device is tested with test smoke. This
menu option disables the fault monotoring.
The monitoring is also disabled if the panel is in ‘WalkTest’.
