Interior heating, ventilation and conditioning
Interior ventilation and heating are adjusted depending on the
ambient temperature by mixing of cold and heated air and are
maintained at almost constant level, at any speed of the vehicle.
Fig. 3.20 shows the interior ventilation and heating system
control unit.

Climate-control system has the control panel, which is the mail
control device. To control the interior temperature according to
the temperature set by the driver, the control device receives the
incoming signals from several sensors, such as the interior tem-
perature sensor, ambient temperature sensor, coolant temperature
sensor, solar radiation sensor, as well as from the control panel
switches.
