5.13 Using the Pass Through Option
The Pass Through option allows you to configure a pass through table. Devices in the
pass through table are treated as bridge devices that store and forward data between
LAN interconnections.
Steps
To set up a pass through table:
1. Click Gateway from the main menu.
2. Click Pass Through from the left side menu. Field descriptions are listed below the
screen example.
5.14 Using the DMZ Host Option
The DMZ Host option allows you to configure a host IP address to be exposed (visible) to
the WAN (public Internet). This may be used when applications do not work with port
triggers or other networking strategies.The following instructions are best practices when
adding a device into a DMZ
Label Description
Index Defines the index number of the pass through rule.
MAC Address Defines the input host’s MAC address.
Clear Deletes this rule when checked and the Apply button is
clicked.
Apply Saves all screen changes when clicked.
