Automatic measurement of time parameters
UTD2000/3000 series osci llograph can measure
signal frequency, cycle, ascending time
,
descending time, positive pulse width, negative
pulse width, delay (of 9 combinations ), posi ti ve dut
y
cycle, negative duty cycl e and 10 time parameters
automatically. Definitions of s uch time parameters
are as follows
:
RiseTime: It refers to period when waveform
amplitude increases from 10% to 90%
;
FallTime: It refers to period when waveform
amplitude decreases from 90% to 10%
;
Positive pulse width (+Wi dth): It refers to pulse
width of positive pulse under 50% of amplitude
;
Negative pulse widt
h
(-Width): It refers to pulse
width of negativ e puls e under 50% of amplitude
;
Delay (ascending edge): It refers to delay from
ascending edge to ascending edge
;
Delay (descending edge): It refers to delay from
descending edge to descending edge
;
Positive duty cyc le (+D uty): It refers to ratio of
positive pulse width and cycle
;
Negative duty cycle (-Duty): It refers to ratio of
negative pulse width and cy cle
;
Operation Description: Please press MEASURE
key so that the screen can dis play 5 measurement
values. As shown in Form 2-25, user can press any
key of F1 to F5 so that the screen enters into
