6.2.4. Control Box Inspection Plan
Description The table below is a checklist of the type of inspections recommended by Universal
Robots. Perform inspections regularly, as advised in the list. Any listed parts found to
be in an unacceptable state must be repaired or replaced.

more on how to perform inspections.

Control Box Visual Inspection
Description
1. Disconnect the power cable from Control Box.
2. Check for any dirt/dust outside the Control Box.

Clean with ESD vacuum cleaner if needed.
NOTICE
Using compressed air to clean inside the Control Box can damage
components.
•
Do not use compressed air to clean inside the Control Box.
