Transport on pub-
lic roads
Control that the machine meets the Road Traffic Act's require-
ments concerning its condition.
When driving on public roads, the machine must live up to the Road
Traffic Act's current requirements.
This ensures traffic safety both for you and other road users.
Not meeting the requirements can result in accidents.
Meeting the Road Traffic Act's current requirements includes, for ex-
ample:
• Attachment of lights, warning devices and safety equipment.
• Compliance with permitted transport width, weight, axle pressure,
tyre carrying capacity and total weight.
Transportation of persons on the machine is prohibited
It is dangerous and illegal to transport persons on the machine.
The machine is not approved for personal transportation.
Transporting persons on the machine may result in serious injuries
and death.
Mounted machines will change the driving and braking abilities
of the tractor
Take notice of changed driving and braking characteristics when driv-
ing with a machine attached.
Especially when driving in curves and turns you should be aware of
the machine's width and swing length.
If no attention is paid it will result in uncontrolled driving and serious
accidents.
Adjust the speed according to the road conditions
Adjust driving speed on the road according to the conditions.
Poor road conditions and driving too fast can lead to overloading parts
of the tractor and machine.
Driving too fast can result in accidents and damage to both the ma-
chine and the tractor.
