Machine in trans-
port position
Check the surrounding area before taking machine into use
Before driving and using the machine the surrounding area should be
checked.
This prevents persons and animals around the machine from being
exposed to danger.
If the surrounding area is not checked, it may result in serious injuries
to persons or animals.
The machine must not rotate when it is in the transport position
The machine must be at a complete standstill before it is put in the
transport position.
This will prevent the PTO shaft and machine from being damaged.
If the machine does not stop rotating before it is put in the transport
position, this can result in serious damage.
When transporting the machine, take note of its overall height
The overall height of the machine cannot exceed 4 metres on public
roads.
This ensures that the machine can pass under bridges and suspended
electricity cables.
If this overall height is exceeded, it can cause both serious damage to
the machine and serious injury to the driver of the tractor.
The machine is converted into transport position in the following way:
> Check that the tractor PTO outlet is disconnected and that the ma-
chine has stopped rotating.
> Check that both safety valves are open.
> Activate the tractor's hydraulic system.
> Raise the machine's cutting unit as shown.
> Check that the hydraulic cylinder shown has lifted the machine's
cutting unit up completely.
