Maintenance
General instruc-
tions
These instructions concern general maintenance work. Specific main-
tenance work procedures for each machine will be described later.
When performing all maintenance work the machine must be secured
in the transport position. If the working position is necessary for per-
forming maintenance work, you will find appropriate instructions con-
cerning
this work.

Working with grease gun
Lubrication is performed by one or two pumps with the grease gun. If
you feel resistance after just one pump with the grease gun do not ap-
ply more grease to the bearings. Too much grease bearings drift apart.
In this case dust and dirt can enter the bearings and cause an early
wear and tear.
Basic
This table contains explanations of the most important maintenance
terms.
Work Performance
Lubricating with oil can Add oil from the can to the moving parts and hinges
Lubricating with
grease gun
1-2 pumps with the grease gun is sufficient unless otherwise stated
Oil change Use only authorised oil products. Using used oil is dangerous for your health and is
strictly prohibited
Replace Replace the appropriate part according to the instructions given in the chapter Mainte-
nance
Check The check is sometimes related to replacing the part in question
Complying with the
maintenance intervals
All specifications have as starting point an average use of the machine. If heavily load-
ed, e.g. contractor, the maintenance intervals should be performed on a more regular
basis. In work conditions with heavy dust development the maintenance intervals
should also be performed on a more regular basis
