First start-up of
machine
The initial test drive of the machine is important
When the machine is connected to the tractor for the first time it must
be test driven.
Attention will assure yours and others safety.
Failure to follow the safety instructions may result in serious injuries.
> Raise the machine.
> Connect carefully the tractors pto shaft
> Carefully increase the speed on the PTO shaft to 1000 RPM.
> Check that the machine runs even without any vibrations.
> Lower the speed on the PTO-shaft to idle again.
> Connect the tractor's hydraulic system.
> Activate the tractor's hydraulic system and raise/lower the cutting
unit of the machine.
> Disconnect the tractor hydraulic system.
> Disconnect the tractor shaft.
> Check that the tractor PTO has stopped rotating.
> Activate the tractor's single-acting hydraulic system and raise the
machine's cutting unit.
> Activate the tractor's double-acting hydraulic system and swing the
machine's cutting unit up to the transport position.
> Activate the tractor's double-acting hydraulic system and swing the
machine's cutting unit down to the working position.
Friction clutch
Only carried out when
starting for the first time
Bleeding of the friction clutch is carried out in the following way:
> Stop the tractor and remove the ignition key from the tractor.
> Remove the end of the P.T.O. shaft with the friction clutch.
> Tighten all bolts on the friction clutch.
> Mount and fasten the friction clutch on the machine.
> Block the cutter bar by placing a wooden block between the two
cutting discs.
> Start the tractor and connect the tractor's PTO outlet.
> Allow the friction clutch to freely rotate until it is hand-warm
> Disconnect the PTO outlet
> Stop the tractor and remove the ignition key from the tractor.
> Remove the friction clutch from the machine.
> Loosen all the bolts on the friction clutch.
> Mount and fasten the friction clutch on the machine.
> Remove the wooden block from the cutting bar.
