Changing oil
Correct support of the machine is necessary to prevent injury
The machine must be properly supported when work is being carried
out underneath it.
If the machine is not correctly supported, there is a high risk that it may
overturn, causing injury.
If the machine is not sufficiently supported, this can result in serious or
even fatal injuries.
Oil change for the cutterbar is done as follows:
> Lift the machine up to the transport position.
> Secure the machine with the correct support.
> Carefully lower the machine down onto the support.
> Close both safety valves.
> Stop the tractor and apply the handbrake.
> Remove the stone guard shown.
> Find the oilplug in the cutterbar and remove it.
> Let the oil flow into an appropriate container.
> Allow the last of the oil to drip out of the cutterbar for approx. 10 -
15 minutes.
> Fit the oilplug tight on the cutterbar.
> Fit the stone guard on the cutterbar.
> Start the tractor.
> Open both safety valves.
> Activate the tractor's lift arms and raise the machine free of the
support.
> Lower the machine back down to the working position.
> Stop the tractor.
