Pay attention when performing oil change
Use protective cream or protection gloves when changing oil.
It will protect your hands against skin injuries.
Direct contact with the oil could lead to serious skin injuries.
Use the correct oil type
Always use the correct oil type for the transmission.
This ensures a long lifetime for the transmission.
Use of incorrect oil type may lead to damage of the transmission.
Maintain correct oil level
Max. and min. indication for oil level on the transmission must not be
exceeded.
Correct oil level of the transmission ensures a long lifetime.
Wrong oil levels can cause heat development in the transmission, re-
sulting in serious damage.
General
When checking or changing the oil in the transmission, the machine
must be placed in the working position on a stable, horizontal, level
surface.

Checking the oil level
The oil level is checked as follows:
→ »Maintenance intervals« Page 55.
> Remove oilplug 1.
> Check that the oil is filled all the way up to the hole.
> If necessary, top up the oil to the correct level.

> Fit oilplug 1 and tighten it.
Changing oil
• Amount of oil for oil change: approximately 1 litre.
→ »Maintenance intervals« Page 55.
Oil change is performed as follows:
> Use a suitable wrench and remove oilplug 2.
> Let the oil run into an appropriate reception container.
> Let the oil drain from the transmission for approx. 10 - 15 minutes.
> Fit oilplug 2.
> Remove oilplug 1.
> Fill up the new oil until the oil level reaches the hole.

> Fit oilplug 1 and tighten it.
