Transport on public roads
Safety
Read the safety instructions carefully before driving on public
road
Before driving on public road, you must read the safety instructions
carefully.
This assures that you avoid dangerous situations and accidents.
Lack of information can lead to an accident.
When transporting the machine, take note of its overall height
The overall height of the machine cannot exceed 4 metres on public
roads.
This ensures that the machine can pass under bridges and suspended
electricity cables.
If this overall height is exceeded, it can cause both serious damage to
the machine and serious injury to the driver of the tractor.
General
Comply with the local law concerning lights, warning and safety
units.
The driver and/or the owner of the machine has the responsibility
of complying with the Road Act.
The manoeuvring ability of the tractor should not be reduced. The
steering axle of the tractor should be loaded with more than 20 %
of the tractor’s dead weight.
Transportation of persons on the machine is strictly prohibited.
Before travelling
on public roads
All hydraulic and electric functions of the machine should be neu-
tral and in locked position.
The tractor's hydraulics must be disconnected and the machine's
safety valves must be closed.
Be aware of children in the danger area of the machine.
Check the nearest area before operating the machine.
Checking the ma-
chine
Before travelling on the road the machine should be checked accord-
ing to this check list:
Is the machine in transport position?
Are all hydraulic functions in neutral?
Are the tractor's hydraulics disconnected?
Is the machine connection secured by a pin?
Does the lighting kit of the machine work properly?
Travelling on pub-
lic roads
Check the nearest area around the machine before you start. Be
aware of children in the danger area of the machine.
Do not exceed the maximum permitted speed.
Adjust the speed according to the road conditions.
Avoid sudden sideways movement with the machine.
Make sure that steering and braking ability is sufficient.
