Working in the field
Check the surrounding area before taking machine into use
Before driving and using the machine the surrounding area should be
checked.
This prevents persons and animals around the machine from being
exposed to danger.
If the surrounding area is not checked, it may result in serious injuries
to persons or animals.
The machine is operated in the following way:
> Open both safety valves.
> Connect the tractor's hydraulic system.
> Activate the tractor hydraulics and lower the cutting unit of the ma-
chine to its working position.
> Check that all guards on the machine are folded out and correctly
positioned.
> Connect the tractor's PTO outlet.
> Carefully increase the speed on the tractor's P.T.O. shaft to 1000
RPM.
> Activate the tractor hydraulics and lower the cutting unit of the ma-
chine
> Find a suitable speed on the tractor and start to mow.
> Activate the tractor hydraulics and raise the machine's cutting unit
when turning at the headland.
> Lower the machine's cutting unit and mow.
Working on sloping
ground
The machine can mow on sloping ground.
• When mowing downwards on slopes, the machine can be tilted to
a maximum of 18
