System insufficiently vented during commissioning
■
Frozen residual heating water in the outdoor unit in
the area of the heating water outlet to the indoor unit
Measures
1. If this message appears after commissioning, check
the float air vent valve. Restart the filling function.
2. Open shut-off valves in direction of flow.
Remove any blockages. If necessary, heat the pipe
to the non-return valve/ball valve with filter to thaw
frozen residual heating water.
3. Check the float air vent valve. Check for refrigerant
leaks (R290). Carry out the venting program.
Replace the float air vent valve if necessary.
4. Clean the heating water filter. Clean the dirt separa-
tor if necessary.
5. Check connection of flow sensor at X19.1 to X19.4
on the EHCUelectronics module:
■
Check wires and plugs for correct seating.
■
Check connections for contact corrosion.
■
Check cables for mechanical damage, e.g. crush-
ing, kinking, chafing or breakage.
6. Check voltage U between X19.2 and X19.4 in
EHCU electronics module:
■
If U = 5 V , replace flow sensor.
■
No voltage: Replace the EHCU electronics mod-
ule.
7. Check circulation pump:
■
If status indicator is red: Check power supply fuse.
■
Check connections X6.1 to X6.3 (230 V~) and
X7.1 to X7.3 (PWM signal) on the EHCU electron-
ics module:
–
Check wires and plugs for correct seating.
–
Check connections for contact corrosion.
–
Check cables for mechanical damage, e.g.
crushing, kinking, chafing or breakage.
Replace power cable if necessary.
■
Check the impeller. Remove the rotor if necessary.
Remove dirt. Flush the system if necessary.
■
Other pump noises: Replace the circulation pump.
F.78 No communication with programming unit
F.78
System characteristics
■
Heat pump in control mode
■
No communication between HMI programming unit
and HPMU electronics module
Cause
No communication with programming unit
Measures
1. Check the power supply. Restore if necessary.
2. Check the connecting cable between the
HPMU electronics module at connection X5 and the
HMI programming unit:
■
Check wires and plugs for correct seating.
■
Check connections for contact corrosion.
■
Check cables for mechanical damage, e.g. crush-
ing, kinking, chafing or breakage.
3. Replace HMI programming unit.
F.87 System overpressure
F.87
System characteristics
Heat pump in a fault state
Cause
Hydraulic system pressure too high
Measures
1. Reduce system pressure to the permissible level.
If message returns after approx. 10 s, drain the sys-
tem. Fill again and vent.
2. Check the water pressure sensor and connec-
tion X11 on the EHCU electronics module:
■
Check wires and plugs for correct seating.
■
Check connections for contact corrosion.
■
Check cables for mechanical damage, e.g. crush-
ing, kinking, chafing or breakage.
3. Replace cable.
4. Replace water pressure sensor.
5. Replace EHCU electronics module.
