Control of the flow temperature for indoor units with 1 integral heating/cooling circuit
Heating/cooling circuit 1 without mixer and without
external buffer cylinder
The flow temperature of the heat pump is controlled by
modulating the compressor at the integral flow temper-
ature sensor. The output of the compressor depends
on the difference between the set and actual flow tem-
peratures.
The speed of the secondary pump remains constant
(parameter 1100.2).
All the necessary components are integrated in the
indoor unit and electrically connected to the heat pump
control unit.
Heating/cooling circuit 1 without mixer and with
external buffer cylinder
The flow temperature is controlled in the same way as
the version without external buffer cylinder.
The required heating circuit pump for heating/cooling
circuit 1 is connected electrically to the EM-P1 exten-
sion.
Heating/cooling circuits 2 to 4 with mixer and with
external buffer cylinder
The flow temperature of the heat pump is controlled
via the buffer temperature sensor. In heating mode, the
set buffer temperature is always the highest set flow
temperature of all connected heating/cooling circuits.
In cooling mode, the set buffer temperature is always
the lowest set flow temperature of all connected heat-
ing/cooling circuits.
The flow temperature for the heating/cooling circuits is
controlled via the flow temperature sensor of the heat-
ing/cooling circuit and the mixer.
The components required for the heating/cooling cir-
cuits with mixer are connected electrically to an exten-
sion (EM-M1 or EM-MX).
Control of the flow temperature for indoor units with 2 integral heating/cooling circuits
■
2 heating/cooling circuits without mixer can be con-
nected directly to the indoor unit.
■
All the necessary components are integrated in the
indoor unit and electrically connected to the heat
pump control unit.
■
The operation of an external buffer cylinder is not
possible: Therefore, the construction of a heat pump
cascade and dual mode operation with an external
heat generator are not possible.
■
The heating/cooling circuits can be supplied with dif-
ferent flow temperatures.
Heating/cooling circuit 1 without mixer
The flow temperature is controlled by modulating the
compressor at the integral flow temperature sensor for
heating/cooling circuit 1. The output of the compressor
depends on the difference between the set and actual
flow temperatures. The speed of the integral heating
circuit pump for heating/cooling circuit 1 remains con-
stant (parameter 1100.2).
