System configuration
The max. number of heating/cooling circuits that can
be connected depends on the system equipment. The
system equipment is configured during commissioning
of the heat pump using the commissioning assistant.
Max. number of heating/cooling circuits
Heat pump type System without external buffer
cylinder
System with external buffer cylin-
der
Indoor unit with 1 integral heating/
cooling circuit
1 heating/cooling circuit without
mixer
1 heating/cooling circuit without mix-
er and up to 3 heating/cooling cir-
cuits with mixer
Indoor unit with 2 integral heating/
cooling circuits (types ... 2C)
1 or 2 heating/cooling circuits with-
out mixer
If 2 heating/cooling circuits are con-
nected, heating/cooling circuit 2 is
controlled like a heating/cooling cir-
cuit with mixer via the mixing func-
tion of the 4/3-way valve.
Note
Only connect heating/cooling cir-
cuit 2 if heating/cooling circuit 1 is
also connected.
Not possible!
Operating mode
The operating mode is configured (parameters 1415.0,
1416.0, 1417.0, 1418.0) depending on the system
equipment and the type of heating/cooling circuits
(parameters 933.0, 934.0, 935.0, 936.0). This also
results in the available operating programs for the
respective heating/cooling circuit.
