1. Check settings for Viessmann energy management
(HEMS) in commissioning assistant. Adjust settings
if required.
2. If necessary repeat commissioning.
3. Inform Viessmann Technical Service.

Cause
As well as the (lead) heat pump (main appliance),
another Viessmann appliance has been configured as
the main appliance.
Measures
Check configuration of all CAN bus subscribers in the
system network. Only the (lead) heat pump may be
configured as the main appliance (Node ID 1). Repeat
commissioning process if necessary.

Measures
1. Check the sensor and connection X1.1/X1.2 on the
inverter:

Check wires and plugs for correct seating.
■
Check connections for contact corrosion.
■
Check cables for mechanical damage, e.g. crush-
ing, kinking, chafing or breakage.
2. Check resistor R for NTC 10 kΩ on the disconnected
plug.
3. Replace sensor.
