Measures
1. Check whether there are any further messages.
Take action as necessary depending on further mes-
sages.
2. Check the CAN bus connection between the EHCU
electronics module and the VCMU refrigerant circuit
controller:
■
Floorstanding indoor unit:
Connection to luster terminals for BUS connec-
tions, terminals 72.3 to 72.5
Wall mounted indoor unit: Connection on device
underside, 5-pole connection socket on the right,
terminals 72.L to 72.H
■
Connection between X12.1 to X12.3 on
VCMU refrigerant circuit controller and X5.1 to
X5.3 on EHCU electronics module
■
Check wires and plugs for correct seating.
■
Check connections for contact corrosion.
■
Check cables for mechanical damage, e.g. crush-
ing, kinking, chafing or breakage.
■
Shielding must be connected to CAN Ground
(GND).
■
Check cable type: Li2YCYv, twisted pair, shielded
or 2-core CAT5, shielded
■
Check cable length.
■
Check CAN L/CAN H assignment.
■
Check the position and number of terminators.
