4. Check the entire safety chain.
5. Reload parameter file for inverter.
F.1179 Internal safety shutdown, inverter, due to mains side phase fault
F.1179
System characteristics
■
Output demand to heat pump not possible
■
Compressor not available
Cause
Failure of one phase for voltage in the inverter inter-
mediate circuit; sharp rise in this voltage
Measures
1. Check the fuse protection for the mains connection
of the outdoor unit. Replace the fuse if necessary.
Note
If the power supply was interrupted by the power
supply utility, no action is required.
2. Check the power supply to X1 of the EMCF filter
module of the inverter.
3. Check the cable and connections to the inverter:
■
Check wires and plugs for correct seating.
■
Check connections for contact corrosion.
■
Check cables for mechanical damage, e.g. crush-
ing, kinking, chafing or breakage.
Replace the cables if necessary.
4. Isolate the outdoor unit from the power supply. Wait
at least 2 min. Switch on voltage again.
5. Replace inverter.
F.1180 Inverter, safety-relevant internal earth fault
F.1180
System characteristics
■
Output demand to heat pump not possible
■
Compressor not available
Cause
■
Earth fault
■
Measuring error in inverter circuit
Measures
1. Check cables between the compressor and inverter:
■
Check wires and plugs for correct seating.
■
Check connections for contact corrosion.
■
Check cables for mechanical damage, e.g. crush-
ing, kinking, chafing or breakage.
Replace cable if necessary.
2. Check connections for earth faults.
3. Isolate the outdoor unit from the power supply. Wait
at least 2 min. Switch on voltage again.
4. Replace inverter.
F.1181 Safety shutdown, compressor, due to superimposed direct current
F.1181
System characteristics
■
Output demand to heat pump not possible
■
Compressor not available
Cause
Max. average current value exceeded by 10 % of the
rated current for longer than 10 s
Measures
1. Isolate the outdoor unit from the power supply. Wait
at least 2 min. Switch on voltage again.
2. Check connections U, V, W on the inverter:
■
Check wires and plugs for correct seating.
■
Check connections for contact corrosion.
■
Check cables for mechanical damage, e.g. crush-
ing, kinking, chafing or breakage.
Replace cable if necessary.
3. Replace inverter.
4. Replace compressor.
