l The operator must activate the conveyor belt using the touchscreen monitor controls
l The photosensors inside the scanner must detect an item in the tunnel
During X-ray generation, a radiation symbol appears on the monitor along with a text message saying X-rays are
being generated. In addition, the indicator lights on top of the scanner switch from green to red.
