6.7 Risk Assessment
Clicking on the Risk Assessment tab displays the risk assessment module (RAM) window. The risk assessment
module provides 5 different levels of security risk. Depending on the level, the operational parameters of the scanner
(for example, speed) provide more accuracy for the security inspection.
Administrator users have always access to this feature. Supervisor users can have access depending on their
permission rights (set in the User Management tab).

LOW, GUARDED and ELEVATED perform regular scans. The speed of the conveyor belt is 44 feet/min. Options
such as continuous screening are available.

HIGH performs scans (continuous screening or single baggage screening) with a speed of 22 feet/min. The
detection assistance sensitivity is increased to a higher range.
l
SEVERE performs only single baggage screening scans at a speed of 22 feet/min. providing a better image
quality. The detection assistance sensitivity is set to the highest level.
