FUNCTION PARAMETERS
vi = contains a session handle to the instrument. This handle is obtained by the function and remains valid until the
session is closed.
DATA ITEM RESET VALUE
Not applicable to this function.
DESCRIPTION
This function breaks a lock on the instrument. This releases a lock on the instrument, regardless of its owner. This
allows for instrument recovery if the locking IP address would become disabled.
NOTE Breaking a lock on the instrument does not automatically acquire it. That must be done with a
separate vtex10xxA_lock call.
