Chapter 6: Maintenance
• Maintenance must be performed according to specified maintenance methods.
The maintenance, inspection and replacement of parts must only be carried out by a
certified person.
• Wait 10 minutes before further maintenance or inspection after the main power circuit
has been switched off.
Do not touch the components or circuit boards directly. Otherwise, the drive may be
damaged by electrostatic charge.
• After maintenance, all screws must be tightened.
6.1 Inspection
To avoid failure of the frequency inverter and to operate reliably with high power for a long
period of time, the user must periodically check the inverter (at least once every five years).
The following table lists the subject of the check.
Inspected parts
Scope of inspection
Temperature / humidity
Ambient temperature shall be lower than 40°C. Humidity shall
meet the requirement of 20~90%.
Smoke and dust
No dust accumulation, no traces of water leakage and no
condensate.
Inverter
Check the inverter to ensure it has no abnormal heat,
abnormal vibration
Fan
Ensure the fan operation is normal, no debris stuck, etc.
Power
The supply voltage and frequency must be within the
permissible range.
Motor
Inspect the engine for unusual vibrations, heat, noise or phase
failure, etc.
6.2 Periodic maintenance
Users should check the drive at regular intervals. The subject of the inspection is as follows:
