9.5 Piston and Connecting Rod

9.5.1 Apply a coat of oil to the inside of the connecting rod’s small end (a).
9.5.2 Align the mark on the piston head (b) with the “MAG” mark on the
connecting rod. Insert the connecting rod into the piston head.
9.5.3 Slide the piston pin (c) through the piston and through the connecting
rod. Secure the pin with clips (d). Check pins for play. Refer to the
Clearance Data and Limits Table.
