9.10 Setting the Timing Chain

9.10.1 Align the timing mark (a) on the crankshaft (b) with the mark plate (c)
of the timing chain.
9.10.2 Align the timing mark (a) on the crankshaft (b) with the mark plate (c)
on the opposite end of the timing chain.
Note: The mark plate (c) does not have a camshaft side or crankshaft
sprocket side.
Reference: Camshaft sprocket (f); camshaft timing mark (d); roll pin
(e); and chain guide position (g).
