1525µ Binary HPLC Pump
The 1525µ Pump is shipped with a 50-µL mixer (part number 700002306, approximate
50-µL volume), mounted on the upper-left side of the chassis face.
For applications with low flow rates and/or steep gradients, you may decide to bypass the
gradient mixer (see the procedure “
Bypassing the Mixer in the 1525µ Pump” on page 42).
Note:
Removing the mixer will result in an increase of the gradient ripple and baseline
noise.
1525EF HPLC Pump
The 1525EF Pump is shipped with one large-volume gradient mixer (part number
WAT051519, approximate 1100-µL volume), mounted on the upper-left side of the chassis
face (see configuration 2 at the top of Figure 2-4
).
If you want to replace the standard large-volume gradient mixer with dual GM150 Gradient
Mixers (approximate 300-µL volume), see configuration 1 in Figure 2-4
.
