Pump does not run Pump not connected to power
source
Ensure the power cable is
properly connected to the
power source and pump.
No power at outlet Check the outlet by connecting
to another electrical unit
known to be working. If that
unit does not work, relocate
the pump to a functioning elec-
trical outlet.
Blown fuse Replace fuse.
Pump not delivering
eluent
Draw-off valve open or leaking Close the draw-off valve. If
eluent still leaks, replace the
valve (see Section 4.7,
Replacing a Draw-Off Valve).
Pump low-pressure limit set
higher than operating pressure
Set the correct low-pressure
limit.
Flow rate set to zero Set the desired pump flow
rate.
Pressure transducer out of
adjustment or defective
Contact Waters Technical
Service.
Pump not primed Prime the pump (see
Section 3.2.1,
Priming the
Pump).
