Replace the plunger and seals As part of the annual scheduled routine
maintenance and thereafter, as needed. The
typical failure modes are as follows:
Late eluting peaks are exhibited after a
dynamic leak test is performed where the
leak rate is above the acceptable limit.
Flow from the seal wash effluent during
the high-pressure dynamic leak test.
The solvent manager exhibits low or
erratic flow rate or pressure pulsations.
Replace the vent valve cartridge As needed.
Clean the module’s exterior with a soft, lint-
free cloth, or paper dampened with water

maintenance and when solvent or dust
accumulates.
