3.1.2 Configuring the system software
To configure the system software:
1. Ensure that the latest version of MassLynx software is installed on the workstation.
Note: Verify that the MassLynx software version is compatible with the mass

2. Install the ACQUITY UPLC M-Class Driver Pack, update your module firmware, and
configure your inlet and system modules.

3.1.3
Monitoring LEDs
LEDs on each system module indicate its state of functioning. The LEDs are specific to their
modules, so the significance of their various colors and modes can differ from one module to
another.
Tip: You can monitor the instrument console for messages and LED indications.
3.1.4
Power LED
The power LED, on the left-hand side of a system module’s front panel, indicates its power-on or
power-off status.
