Suspected cause Possible solution
Detector problems Confirm that the system is plumbed into the
detector with no leaks.
Verify that the detector is operational.
No solvent flow Confirm that there is sufficient solvent in
the bottles.
Ensure that the solvent flow rate is >0.0,
and that the system pressure is normal.
Leak in the solvent path Inspect all fittings and replace as necessary.
